1574 Boeing 747 aircraft were manufactured between 1968 and January 31, 2023 over its 55 year production run.
The 747 dubbed 'Queen of The Sky's' was the first wide body airliner that connected the world and carried more than 3.5 billion passengers over its service.
Production of the 747 was ended due to the shrinking demand for the model by airlines and cargo operators in favour of more efficient twin engine airliners such as the 777.
