The tallest building in the world is the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It stands at 2,717 feet (828 meters) and has 163 floors. The Burj Khalifa surpassed Taipei 101 in Taiwan to claim the title when it was inaugurated in January 2010.
